FROM POLICE PATROLS TO YOUR ELECTRICAL PANEL
Matt Merry served in the U.S. Navy aboard USS San Jacinto, deployed to the coast of Iraq. After his service, he worked as a carpenter, trained as an electrician, and was laid off during the 2009 recession. That layoff sent him into Pennsylvania law enforcement, where he spent the next fifteen years on patrol across four departments — Colebrookdale, Eastern Berks Regional, Boyertown, and Bally.
During those years he kept seeing the same call. A homeowner had given a deposit to a contractor. The contractor never came back. The pattern repeated until Matt couldn't keep watching it. He founded Merry Brothers — named for his three boys, Riley, Peyton, and Bruce — to be the contractor those homeowners deserved.
Today Merry Brothers is owned 51% by Matt's wife Megan and operates as a veteran-owned, woman-owned, family-run electrical contractor. Matt runs the trucks and the work in the field; Megan leads the company's growing operations.

5-Year Warranty
We wanted Permanent Holiday lights for our new barn. Matt Merry installed the Celebright lights and did a great job hiding all the power cables for a super clean install. We talked to some landscape and painting companies that do this part time, but their solution was sub par and only came with a 90 warranty. Merry Brothers solution comes with a 5 year warranty. I trust an electrician to install wires. Matt is easy to work with... we would highly recommend him. I am already thinking of other job I need done so I can call him back to help us.

Smart Roofline is a permanent outdoor lighting system installed along your home's roofline, eaves, and architectural features. It replaces seasonal hanging lights with year-round lighting controlled by app and voice — different scenes for holidays, accent lighting, game day, security at night. We're a Celebright Silver-certified installer of the system.
What's covered by your warranties?
All Celebright Smart Roofline installations are backed by a 5-year warranty on the lights and a 3-year warranty on our workmanship — both in writing, both in plain English, both explained before the job starts. Generac installations carry Generac's manufacturer warranty per published terms plus our written workmanship warranty. All general electrical work is backed by our written workmanship warranty.
Do you handle small electrical jobs, or only big projects?
Both. We're an electrician first and a specialty contractor second. Panel upgrades, outlet installations, ceiling fans, surge protection, EV charger installs, and storm response are all in our normal work. Call us with whatever's in your house and we'll quote it honestly.
